  1. Right Click Erasing

    When selecting areas for clearing, guarding, etc. Right click should be used to erase the areas. This would allow players to give orders quicker and fix their mistakes in less time.

    • tutorial should include resource-saving

      The tutorial should teach players to use the checkered-forbidden to avoid running out of resources (that is, forbidding taking wheat in a checkered pattern in order to avoid killing it off). This took me a long time to figure out.

      • Turn fruit vision / unit conversion off on maps with fruit

        Rather than remove fruit from maps, have a pregame option to turn fruit vision enabled or disabled

          Like weat, if you over fish, they die, and grow in stages. It would make the swimming pool more worth while.

          • New Unit: Catapult

            A ranged unit for hiting towers and units. When they fire a target is chosen after a small amount of time every unit in that square and all adjacent squares takes significant damage (including friendly units). Maybe we can have warriors being targeted automatically run when they see the catapult fire?

            • Moats: dig around your colony and protect it!

              It would be cool to able to dig moats around your colony. And they can't be passed, so your enemies must have Archers or Catapults to fire from a range. This is also a good opportunity to make a new building, the Gymnastic Hall, in order to train your units to jump over Moats. :)

                I'd like to suggest:
                a) to make possibility attach pictures (animations) to every mission (if somebody wishes to). In campaign menu there already is much unused space :(
                b) add some reference to the pool where user writes his name to use it in story

                  Recently, I thought of this great idea! A new globulation unit called a queen. It would be as strong as 100x a worker. It would be able to build buildings and enter swarms and stay there

                    In noob-mode globulation messures things and triggers warning messages with a button for further help like:

                    inns per worker
                    if units>10 and inns*10<units then "build more inns! hungry units refuse to work! [how]"
                    hospitals per worker
                    if gametime > 3min and hospitals*20<units then "build more hospitals! injured units refuse to work! [how]"
                    units working at building

                      Like racing track and swimming pool you can here upgrade your units so that they can jump over barriers (except for walls - or better: walls maybe upgraded, too, to high walls, so that jump-capable units can't jump over it)
                      this may become very useful if some units are blocking the way
                      updates of this building let the units jump farther, e.g.:
                      lvl 1: 1 square
                      lvl 2: 2 ...
                      lvl 3: 3 ...

                      • Warriors prefer bridges over swimming

                        Add "bridges" to the game, and eliminate the ability to teach warriors to swim (or make them swim much slower 1/2 to 1/4th rate). Adds an interesting strategic element, and creates more natural choke points against assualts.

                          Give an ability for a flag to TIMEOUT. Simply let the player set flag's effective time period of 1m, 2minutes and after that... it simply disappears or gets it's attendants count to 0.

                            Create a mechanism for easy creation of themes. This would require 3 major changes:
                            * A themes folder inside data containing folders of different themes. The game will use any images in this folder, and if it doesn't exist, use the default theme ones. This allows for example small resources theme packs, without changed units.
                            * A mechanism in game settings which selects (via checkbox) which theme packs are enabled, and in what order. The first pack to contain the image is used. This allows (like above) resources packs, but also gui packs and such, without neededing to be in…

                              * Custom games need to be able to be created directly from a random map
                              o In a menu, there would be a number of selectable "pre-configured options" on the left
                              o You can select one, it would set the options, you can change those options. The selected item would change from the selected pre-configured option to "Custom Setup" or "Custom Layout" and it should be possible to save this custom layout with no more effort than hitting the save button.

                                Possibility to order for your warriors to stun units, later workers may grab them to the prison, where they may be tortured to come on your side. Other thing may be slaving prisoners, but this is a more complex idea.

                                  Worker... A simple frail, reedy being. It goes to collect some resources... goes goes... and what?! 5 enemy warriors attack the little one! What to do?! What to do?! PANIC! FLEE!!!
                                  That I miss. Strategical element of the idea: now it's very difficult to make enemy workers don't clear your resources, even attacking warrior has difficulties. With this change they would be scared.
                                  Suggestion: worker panics when addition of all lvl's of warriors which is beating him is higher than his.

                                        We should be able to set the default worker count and priority for all new buildings.

                                        Also we should be able to update all buildings priority count at once. For example you could make all of your swarms a high priority with one click. Also you could set the workers to 10 for all swarms, inns, or whatever building you are concerned about.

                                          it would be essential for globulation's support of arab and other right-to-left languages to render things different for RTL-languages. flush right is not the best to read for english neither.
