  1. Replace "Wheat" with "Food" in inns.

    Fruits are special kind of food, it's exclusive food, but if we are willing to add any other kinds of food, I think that it'll be essential :)

      • Warehouses

        Warehouses that can store grain, fruit, trees, stone, and algae. These are not global but any worker that grabs resources from this warehouse can grab twice the normal load (they can also grab only the regular amount in case that is all they need for construction)

        • Distribution centers (needs Warehouses)

          * A building that carries resources. It comes paired with a "distrubition center building" that can be "built" up to a certain distance from this store house (about 10ish spaces). Globs can get resources from the distribution center, where as they put them in the store house. This acts as a mechanism to circumvent distances, improve worker efficiency, and improve city construction management and thus reduce clutter. Players should be able to assign which of the four resources they want workers to gather for their storehouse, with the potential for choosing "all".

              * Optimize unit state machine.
              * Gradient calculation improvements. BUG #16512: http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?16512
              * Remove UnitType, put all attributes to unit. Remove Race, write Unit prototype.
              * Create StreamEditor dialog box to edit properties of any serializable object. Have GUI to edit value from/to Stream. Allows per unit customisation in Map editor.
              * Optimize forbidden zone exiting.
              * Explorer should consider both FOW and undiscovered ares, not only undiscovered.
              * Order must be serializable object and accept a Stream in load/save method. This allow human-readable dump of orders in case of syncronization.

                      like in title, Any possibility to train explorers to attack with not "magic" shiny attack, but with stones ~ attack buildings and globules

                        Why all plants only grow? They should also die! But that would require a more complex system of watering and fertility.

                          I don't like that one may destroy his own buildings so easily by just clicking on button "Destroy". I suggest to turn on countdown 5 seconds after activating the "self-destruction device". Or another one: after clicking the "Destroy" button create war flag to the building and give some work for one's bored warriors.

                          • Map's players mapping + minimap displayed in online games (best inside of the hosted game)

                            Idea: turning on the minimap displaying all players in their colours (buildings and units) or calculate a map of it (like map of hungryness) and overlay it on the minimap. But all of this not in game, but everywhere where minimap is displayed, to don't need to open it in map editor to see it. Also it should be displayed a minimap inside one's hosted game in the online game, because for example if it's somebody's just made map, than it would be nice to see it before you play. At least on the minimap.

                            • the old checkerboard brush pattern, as it was when feature was implemented

                              the old patterrn was easier to use for filling regions. alternatively, a real brush, which a toggle for "painting odd" or "painting even" set of squares.

                                Some random weather conditions, for example rain - it's results are depend on how strong rain it is. Thankfully to it it grass fields may be counted as a water in resources growth calculation, depending on it density it may for example water every x and y which %4 == 0, etc... There may be a wind, which helps moving in one direction, hurricane which destroys some plants and makes swimming impossible, earth quake, which damages buildings, some fire(blazes) maybe?

                                      Have boats for traveling water quicker. would be built at a dock, not the swarm. Can have boats that attack. shouldn't be too hard to do, eh.

                                        • Filtering maps on the Custom Games screen

                                          The functionality to filter maps, allowing you to see maps of only a specific size. This is a difficult to implement problem, as the gui structure will have to be reanrranged for the filter settings to be do-able. If one filter setting is achieved, perhaps more could be implemented. Special live search filtering should be done (if the above is done). As you type in your entry, the list of maps is automatically filtered, rather than filtering at the end of typing (when you click enter). This does result in allot of filters, but it makes it easier to tell…
